Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cloud Media Player (the “App”) handles information when you use the App. Cloud Media Player is designed to help you access and play media stored on services you choose to connect, including services such as Dropbox, pCloud, Box and Google Drive, as well as files transferred over your local Wi‑Fi network.

1. Information you choose to connect

When you connect a third-party cloud storage account, the App may request authorization needed to browse, access or play files from that service. Authentication is handled through the relevant provider's authorization mechanisms. Your use of each third-party service is also subject to that provider's privacy policy and terms.

2. Media and file access

The App accesses files only as needed to provide features you request, such as browsing folders, opening media, playback, or transferring files. Connecting a storage provider does not transfer ownership of your files to us.

3. Wi‑Fi Transfer

If you use Wi‑Fi Transfer, the App may communicate with devices on your local network to receive or transfer files. You should use this feature only on networks and with devices you trust.

4. Information we collect

The exact data collected can depend on the version and configuration of the App. We do not intentionally require you to provide sensitive personal information merely to use basic media playback. If analytics, diagnostics, advertising, subscriptions, or other third-party services are added to a particular release, this policy should be updated to accurately describe those services and their data practices.

5. Third-party services

The App may integrate with third-party services including Dropbox, pCloud, Box and Google Drive. Those companies operate independently and may process information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy settings and policies of any service you connect.

6. Data security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the App to protect information handled by the App. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.

9. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the App's privacy practices, please use our Contact Us page.

Developer note: Before publishing, replace or revise any statements above so they exactly match the data practices, SDKs, analytics, advertising, account system, subscriptions, and cloud API permissions used by your shipping app.
